Kids Learn First Aid - Plus Icy Poles!

This fun, engaging and age-appropriate workshop facilitated by St John WA is tailored for children to learn some basic first aid skills. Upon conclusion, students will also be treated to a tour of an ambulance and delicious icy poles to cool down in the summer heat. 

Workshop Objectives

Students will learn how to recognise a Danger, how to get someone to Respond accordingly and when to Send for help in an emergency. 

• Understand what an emergency is and what isn't an emergency.
• When to help.
• Who can help.
• How to help.

Workshop Specifics and Requirements

   🚑 Children aged 6 - 12 years are eligible to register for this workshop. 

   🚑 Registration is required for children to attend this FREE workshop. If you do secure tickets for this workshop and find that you are unable to attend, please cancel your place at the earliest opportunity to allow others the opportunity to attend. 

   🚑 Parental supervision is compulsory, and parents need to remain at the premises with their child/ren for the entirety of the event.

• Hand sanitiser will be available at each session.
• Please do not attend the program if you or your child are unwell.
• Limits on the number of participants allowed in a building may be applied to ensure the health and wellbeing of family and staff. 
• While all care is taken by staff to ensure community safety, these events are not supervised. Parents and carers are responsible for looking after their children at all times.
• The City of Gosnells accepts no liability for any injury, loss or damage incurred by attending this program.
