Bowl-A-Drama - a Skate, Scooter and BMX Competition with Freestyle Now

Drop into the deep end and show us what you've got at the inaugural Bowl-A-Drama Competition! Bowl-A-Drama is your chance to take on the skate park bowl and compete alongside fellow skateboarder, scooter rider and BMX enthusiasts. Show off your favourite tricks, try something new and have fun competing alongside others who love to ride as much as you do. 

The day is super chill and welcoming for everyone—riders, families and spectators. With a smoke, drug and alcohol-free vibe and an easy-going atmosphere, it’s the perfect chance to roll, ride and enjoy some friendly competition with great energy and great people. Bring your skills, your friends and your good vibes!

 

Competition and registration specifics

The City of Gosnells Youth team is hosting the competition with the judging facilitated by Freestyle Now. The following information is sourced from Freestyle Now's event pages. 

 

Registration

Competition

Pre-event registration is required to participate and secure a place in the competition. On the day registration is accepted if spots are available.Competition is being judged under three disciplines:
  • BMX
  • Scooter
  • Skateboard
There are limited spots available to compete. Please cancel your registration if you cannot participate in the competition so that someone on the waiting list can compete. For each division, competition is being judged under two age groups:
  • 14 and under
  • Open
 Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your competition start time. 
  • Check in: 12:00pm - 12:30pm
  • Event time: 12:00pm - 3:00pm
Be sure to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, a helmet and ensure your BMX,  Scooter or Skateboard is in good working order.

Roll On Skate Park Series 2025/2026

The Roll On Skate Park Series is a series of free clinics, competitions, and other skate park events for skateboard, scooter, and BMX riders brought to you by the City of Gosnells. All events are attended by the City of Gosnells Youth and Families team. Some events are run in conjunction with contracted companies and other agencies. No matter your skill level — beginner or pro — our skate events have something for everyone, including comps, jams, coaching, and heaps of good vibes.
