Motorists are urged to be patient and take extra care during roadworks to install a new roundabout on William Street in Beckenham.

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said the project had been underway since November, however the final stage to realign Bickley Road traffic into a roundabout at the intersection of William and Camberwell streets involved more traffic detours and lane movements.

“This section of William Street, between Albany Highway and Beckenham train station, is extremely busy and the City encourages motorists to be mindful of pedestrians and other road users and follow detours and reduced speed limits to keep our work crews and road users safe,” she said.
