Grab your picnic rug and get ready to enjoy movies under the stars as the City of Gosnells Sunset Cinemas return for another year.

These free, family-friendly movie screenings will run over four nights in February and March at various parks across the City.

City of Gosnells Deputy Mayor Adam Hort said the popular event series featured prescreening live entertainment, activities and food trucks.

“With four fun-filled Sunset Cinemas running throughout the City, this is a great way to spend time with your family, friends and even your neighbours while enjoying some of the City’s attractive parks and gardens,” he said.

The first movie will be Clifford the Big Red Dog at Robinson Park in Gosnells on Friday 10 February, and movie goers can take their pooches along for this screening.

On Friday 17 February, catch basketball-themed Space Jam – A New Legacy at Brookland Greens in Canning Vale. On Friday 10 March, Minions – The Rise of Gru will screen at Masters Street Reserve in Kenwick, followed by Encanto on Friday 17 March at Partridge Way Reserve in Thornlie.

Entertainment at all Sunset Cinemas starts at 5pm with movies to be screened at sundown. Sunset Cinemas are presented by the City of Gosnells and sponsored by Lotterywest. For more information, visit the website at gosnells.wa.gov.au.
