Paying this year’s rates bill on time has reaped rewards for several ratepayers in the City of Gosnells, as part of the Early Ratepayers Prize Draw.

Lucky ratepayer Carina Robertson won a $2,000 Westpac Reward Saver Account and Kelvin Lovett won a $1,500 Westpac Reward Saver Account.

Chu and Phong Chin, Kevin Lees, Kevin Bramwell, Nirvana and Purmasivan Venagiam, and Pia Bachl and Cornelius Gottschalk, received $1,000 for early payment of rates for their properties.

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes thanked and congratulated the winners. “Our rates help to fund a wide range of new infrastructure projects such as parks and playgrounds, footpaths, roads and environmental rehabilitation, plus facilities including libraries and LeisureWorld, and community events and support programs, she said.

The competition was open to residential ratepayers who paid the full amount listed on their 2022/23 Rate Notice before 5pm on Friday 2 September. Winners were chosen at random from a database of all eligible ratepayers.

Anyone with an outstanding Rate Notice who is experiencing financial difficulty is encouraged to call the City on 9397 3000 to discuss payment options.
