New play space for Maddington

Families in Maddington can now enjoy new barbecue facilities and play equipment, as part of an upgrade to Woodswallow Park.

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said the enhancements included a combination play unit, shade sails, basket swing, spinner, log scramble, a barbecue, picnic seating and a shelter.

“The Councillors and I look forward to seeing local residents making the most of this revitalised space,” she said.

“With increasing housing density in the area, this upgraded park offers important play opportunities for children and a welcoming place for residents to gather outdoors with neighbours, friends and family.”
