Enjoy time outdoors this spring with a visit to Kelton Park in Thornlie, which received a facelift during winter and now offers a fresh new space for local residents.

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said the nature-themed playground upgrade included a timber tower, slide, swings, accessible rocker, seating and new paths.

“We know nearby residents are passionate about this pocket-sized park and we look forward to seeing it enjoyed by local families for years to come,” she said.

“To complement the formal play equipment, the upgrade also includes rocks and logs for nature play and additional native plants, which will also make the space pleasant to sit and relax in.”

Existing trees at the park were retained and new trees planted, to provide plenty of shade.
