This year’s bigger and better than ever Jingle All the Way Christmas celebration will bring a festive wonderland to the City of Gosnells on Saturday 10 December from 5pm to 9pm.

The popular annual event will feature an interactive 1.5km Christmas trail through the Civic Centre Gardens and Centennial Pioneer Park, including extra special appearances by Santa and his helpers.

Mayor Terresa Lynes said Jingle All the Way was a fun-filled free event to be enjoyed by the whole family.

“I love this time of year, when everyone is in a festive mood and enjoying themselves,” she said.

“This time of year is all about getting out and about in the community, getting to know your neighbours and celebrating the year with friends and family.

“Jingle All the Way will include plenty of activities for the kids, the Candy Land Christmas Maze, the Grinch’s Lair, the Snow Queen, a festive concert in the Civic Centre Gardens, roving entertainers and much, much more – it’s a great night out.

“Remember to have your free photo taken with Santa and his elves, and there will be plenty of other festive photo opportunities throughout the trail.”

This year the City is introducing an exciting new augmented reality (AR) experience at Jingle All the Way, using your smart device and a free app. Throughout the trail there will be signs to scan the code to bring Christmas characters to life, take a photo with them and share with friends.

There will also be a Food Truck Alley, where over 15 food vendors will offer a range of tasty foods and drinks at the event.

Entries in the City’s annual Safe City Christmas Lights Competition close on Sunday 4 December, and the winners will be announced on the main stage at Jingle.

Please note, this is a smoking, drugs and alcohol free event.
