Immerse yourself in a haunted local history as part of the spook-tacular City of Gosnells Ghost Walks series in January, February and March 2023.

This summer, the popular events have been reimagined, featuring new ghosts and new historic locations at Wilkinson Homestead and Kenwick Pioneer Cemetery.

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said tickets were now on sale and would disappear quickly.

“The Ghost Walks are always very popular and a lot of fun,” she said.

“They also provide an opportunity to explore these historic locations and learn about local characters, such as Benjamin Mason and John Bird, who helped to shape our community.

“With new locations planned and new ghosts haunting us this year, even people who have enjoyed a Ghost Walk previously can enjoy the experience all over again.”

Participants will meet friendly ghost performers telling colourful tales of the many characters who lived and worked in the district more than 150 years ago.

Ghost Walks are recommended for people over 10 years of age.

The City is also seeking volunteers with a flair for performing or a love of local history to join the cast. Previous acting experience is not essential and all volunteers receive training.

“Volunteering for Ghost Walks is a great way to meet new people, make a difference in the community and, most importantly, it can really boost your spirits,” Mayor Lynes said.

Tickets are $27.50 for adults and $10 for children. Click here to book your place or find out about volunteering.
