The City of Gosnells will host two more Your Neighbourhood events in the coming weeks, where residents can learn more about community safety in a fun, family-friendly environment.

The first will be at Gaskin Park, Kenwick, from 3pm to 6pm on Thursday 16 March, followed by another Your Neighbourhood event at Wilkinson Homestead, Gosnells, at the special school holiday time of 10am to 1pm on Thursday 20 April.

City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes said getting to know your neighbours was one of the best ways to improve community safety, so simply participating in the event could make your neighbourhood safer.

“These events are a fantastic way to learn more about personal, home and vehicle safety, while enjoying a range of family activities and a free sausage sizzle,” she said.

“Community safety is everyone’s business. We all have a responsibility to work together to improve community safety in our neighbourhood.”

Everyone who attends will go in the draw to win a video doorbell.

Residents are encouraged to walk or cycle to their local Your Neighbourhood event as parking at both venues is limited.
