Enjoy the romance of classical strings and soulful vocals under the stars on the banks of the Canning River on Saturday 14 February.
Music Under the Stars will take place at the City of Gosnells Museum at Wilkinson Homestead from 6pm, featuring string quartet Aquila and soulful songstress Sophie Foster.
Mayor Terresa Lynes said the event was presented by the City’s Don Russell Performing Arts Theatre.
“Music Under the Stars offers the community a performance with a difference in the beautiful, historic grounds of the City of Gosnells Museum at Wilkinson Homestead,” she said.
“It’s sure to be a magical night and one not to be missed.”
Aquila is renowned for using their finely tuned classical prowess to explore contemporary music, while sought-after vocalist Sophie Foster seamlessly blends genres from jazz to soul, contemporary music and musical theatre.
Pre-purchase a platter to enjoy during the concert, or bring your own picnic. An onsite bar will be open throughout the event (strictly no BYO alcohol).
To keep comfortable during the performance, pack a rug or chair to sit on. Ticket purchasers will be asked to select the type of seating when booking.
