Local families joined City of Gosnells Mayor Terresa Lynes and Councillors to celebrate the completion of another all-abilities playground, at Bracadale Park in Canning Vale.
Mayor Lynes said the Bracadale Park project was one of 11 all-abilities playgrounds completed or due for completion across the City.
“This playground is part of the City’s commitment to provide opportunities for our community to participate in activities that promote physical and emotional wellbeing,” she said.
“The new playground design is inspired by the nearby wetlands and includes something for everyone, including quiet nooks within the garden which provide a sensory experience, while the central zone includes a swing and carousel.”
Following community consultation late last year, the City will soon commence construction of a new enclosed dog park at Bracadale Park. This will be the City’s second enclosed dog park, with Harmony Fields in Maddington providing a popular exercise and interaction spot for local dogs and their owners.
