For 35 years Gozzy Rock has uncovered some of WA’s best young musical talent. Established in 1986, the battle-of-the-bands competition has launched many musical careers.

This year Gozzy Rock is unveiling something new: Underground Sounds.

Underground Sounds isn’t just about rock music, nor is it limited to bands. The competition is open to all styles, (rap, folk, indie, hip hop, electronic, country, metal etc.) and any number of musicians per act (from solo acts to full bands).

The contest is free to enter and open to young people aged 12 – 25 who live, study or work within the City of Gosnells (for bands at least one member must fulfil this requirement).

Entrants will be assessed by the Gozzy Rock selection committee to determine which six talented acts make it to the final competition.

Come and see our talented local youth battle for the top spot and over $3,000 worth of Mega Music vouchers.

You will be treated to 5 hours of live music entertainment, including local trio Yomi Ship, who've been touring up a storm on the east coast. Each ticket holder will also receive a food truck meal worth $15!

This year the event will be held at our newly renovated youth centre 'The Underground' in Southern River.

Tickets are limited so don't miss out!
