The City's libraries regularly host programs, special events, workshops, guest speakers and friendly club gatherings for people of all ages.  More information about groups that meet to have fun and challenge each other over board games, chess, cards and mahjong is available below, although there are plenty of games available to take home and enjoy with  your own family and friends too. There are also console games (Wii or Nintendo Switch) available to play at all four libraries. Why not bring a friend and see who wins! Game tournaments are held from time to time, keep your eye on the What's on at the library page for details.

Visitors to the City’s libraries will be required to follow contract tracing protocol as specified by the WA Health Department. Public health measures such as the use of hand sanitiser and complying with reduced event capacities for social distancing must be followed by all participants. Please do not visit a library if you are unwell, have recently been overseas, or have been in close contact with someone confirmed or suspected of having COVID-19.

Parents please note that children under 6 years old must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. Children between 6 and 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult, or older sibling (13 years and over).

If you would like to receive information about library events and services by email you can sign up for the e-newsletter, or like us on Facebook.
