Languages at the library

The City’s libraries regularly host programs, special events, workshops, guest speakers and friendly club gatherings for people of all ages. Links to groups that meet to have fun and learn English or other languages are available below. All events are free and some include free refreshments.

Bahasa Buddies at Knowledge Centre

Selamat datang! Practise or polish your Indonesian Bahasa language skills by chatting with others. Converse and help each other in a group to improve your knowledge of the Indonesian language. Basic Indonesian is required.

Deutsche Gruppe at Knowledge Centre

Willkommen! Practise or polish your German language skills by chatting with others. Basic knowledge of German is required. Sessions run on Wednesdays.
