Our collections offer a choice of books ranging from board books for babies, to easy readers (items are graded to assist with selecting material suitable to different reading levels), and collections of novels for all ages right up to those specifically selected for young adults. Free e-resources are available for this age group via several sites and the libraries also have puzzles and games, puppets, comics, audio-books, and DVDs available for loan.  Browse the collections via the gallery below, or head over to the catalogue to search for something specific.

Special library backpacks are available to be borrowed from each library. The backpacks contain age-appropriate materials for ages 0 – 2 years, and 3 – 5 years, including books, games, puppets, and puzzles.

Tricky Topics

The ‘tricky topics’ collection is for parents and young children facing some of life’s difficult situations. Resources encompassing a number of themes are available; bullying, emotions, grief, moving house, new babies, disability, protective behaviours, identity, and starting school.
