Join us on Saturday 12 April from 11am to 2pm. With loads of kids' activities and awesome entertainment, we’ve got a fun-filled day for the whole family. 

Meet The Lulus, Fin the loveable shark and Spike the sporty lizard. They sing, they dance, they play and most of all they love to have FUN!

Get ready for a mega mix of Wiggly dance hits in this interactive and engaging live show! Including all the Wiggles greatest hits like Rock-A-Bye Your Bear, Hot Potato & Do the Propeller!

Parents and children will be left smiling from ear-to-ear as we sing, dance and laugh along with Dorothy & all her Wiggly friends! Learn to 'Tango' with Wags the Dog, 'Move your Arms' like Henry the Octopus and get ready to sing and laugh along with everyone's favourite friendly pirate, Captain Feathersword!

How much does it cost?

Entry to Junior Jam is free of charge, however, charges apply for food and drinks purchased from the onsite vendors.

Do I need a ticket?

You do not require a ticket to attend this event, it is open for anybody to attend.

Where is it located?

It is located at the Civic Centre Gardens, 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells.

What can I bring into the event?

Junior Jam is a smoke free event, including vapes.

Patrons are permitted to bring food and unopened, non-alcoholic drinks into the event.

A variety of food will be available to purchase and includes menu items catering for intolerances and vegetarian / vegan patrons. 

You may bring your own rugs, beanbags, cushions and low-lying chairs only to get comfy and enjoy the show. 

Glass (including bottles or drinking glasses), alcoholic beverages and sharp, metal utensils (such as knives) are NOT permitted and will be confiscated by security personnel. 

To ensure the enjoyment and unobstructed view of the stage for all patrons, shade sails and tents are not permitted. Some shade will be setup throughout the event site.

Can I bring my pram?

Certainly, however please note they cannot be placed across walkways, entrances or exit points.

Will there be baby change facilities?

Baby change facilities will be available at the function room at the Civic Centre building.

Will there be a feeding room?

A space for breastfeeding will be available at the function room at the Civic Centre building.

Will there be security present?

Licensed security and crowd control will be present at the event to help keep you safe. We ask that all attendees follow the directions of the security team.

 

Can I bring my dog?

Pets are not permitted at Junior Jam, with the exception of Assistance Dogs.

What happens if I lose my child at the event?

The City has engaged Constable Care to manage a Lost Children tent at Junior Jam.  If you cannot find your child/ren, please make your way to this tent, or reach out to an Events team member who will be wearing a navy polo shirt for assistance.

We recommend taking a photo of your child/ren as you arrive at Junior Jam, this can be useful to help staff to convey and accurate description of what the child is wearing. 

Is wheelchair access available?

We have made a number of provisions to ensure our events are accessible to all. These include accessible entrance lanes and accessible toilet facilities. Please be mindful that this is an outdoor event on grassed areas so there may be uneven surfaces and the accompaniment of a carer is recommended.

Limited on-site parking is available for ACROD permit holders. Parking for ACROD or wheelchair patrons is not always assured, however in the absence of parking close to the gates, limited alternatives will be provided. We strongly advise that when purchasing your ticket, you get in touch with the events team so that additional parking options can be discussed.

Is there an Accessible viewing area?

An accessible viewing area is provided at the venue. Please contact the events team at events@gosnells.wa.gov.au prior to the event or speak to a member of staff on the day if additional assistance is required. Access to this area is provided on a first come, first served basis until the area is at capacity.  The City cannot guarantee that all patrons will have a full and unimpeded view of the performance.

Can I smoke at the event?

Junior Jam is a smoke free event. Smoking is not permitted in the event zone, (including the use of e-cigarettes).

What if I lose something?

All lost property will be stored at the onsite Information marquee during the event. Unclaimed lost property will be taken to the City of Gosnells Civic Centre building at 2120 Albany Highway, Gosnells, and held for seven days.  Staff here can be reached Monday to Friday 8:30am – 5pm.

How loud will it be?

There will be performances between 11am and 2pm. All volume levels will comply with local government regulations and will be monitored to ensure compliance.

It is recommended that any attendees with hearing sensitivity concerns bring their own headphones or earplugs.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Public Transport – Event attendees are encouraged to use public transport, carpool, cycle or walk where possible. The event venue (Civic Centre Gardens) is located a short distance from the Albany Highway and Gosnells Bus Station. If you're using Transperth services, remember you can plan your journey with the JourneyPlanner before you travel.

Parking – Limited parking is available in the carpark at The City of Gosnells Civic Centre, entry via Mills Road West and Albany Highway. Some parking is available in the surrounding streets. Please do not park on verges, or streets that have 'no parking' signs, and respect local residents by not blocking access to their driveways.

Cycle – Relieve the stress of navigating traffic and finding a car park by riding your bike to Junior Jam.
