Homegrown Festival

The Homegrown Festival is a month long celebration of arts and culture in the City of Gosnells, bringing together people from across the City in a range of fun, free or affordable activities for the whole family.

The Homegrown Festival traditionally runs between February and March and kicks off with the Illuminate Night Party and ends with the very popular children’s arts festival – Little Scribblers.

There is something on offer for everyone throughout the whole festival including a series of outdoor movies, a variety of fun and informative workshops, days out for the kids, youth activities, free concerts, special theatrical performances and heaps more.

Keep an eye out each year for the full festival program which contains all of the details and everything you need to know about the festival. The program is released each year on Australia Day, distributed to all households within the City in early February, available in all City of Gosnells locations e.g. Libraries, Leisure World and Civic Centre as well as online.

If you are a performer or part of a community organisation and would like to be involved in the Homegrown Festival or would like to volunteer get in contact with Leisure Services on 9397 3111 or email events@gosnells.wa.gov.au to find out how.
