There's a range of fitness options for young people including:

  • Junior Gym 
  • Junior Gym Yoga
  • Junior Gym Personal Training

Junior Gym (Ages 8-14 years)

Junior Gym is a group fitness class where kids can get fit while having fun.This is a fully supervised program consisting of strength, agility, flexibility, games and light weights in a circuit style class. Completing a pre exercise questionnaire is essential.  Children must wear suitable clothing; bring a towel and water bottle.

Date:        Every Monday (school terms only)
Time:       4pm - 4:45pm
Venue:     Group Fitness Room, Leisure World

Junior Gym Yoga

Junior Gym Yoga classes are designed to aid kids by teaching them how to move their bodies in a healthy way, assist in managing stress through breathing exercises, creating awareness, meditation and concentration as well as increasing their confidence and positive self-image. No experience required.

Date:         Every Wednesday (school terms only)
Time:         6-9 years – 3.45pm – 4.15pm
                 10-14 years – 4.25pm – 5.10pm
Venue:      Group Fitness Room, Leisure World

Junior Gym Personal Training (Ages 5-17 years)

Leisure World introduces the Junior Gym Program. Junior Gym is an opportunity for children to get healthier, fitter and stronger in a one-on-one workout session which builds those growing bodies in the right way.

The Junior Gym personal training program is conducted over ten half hour sessions at a cost of only $275.
