Looking to improve your club membership? Or diversify your income? The City of Gosnells is hosting workshops to increase the knowledge and skills of local community groups and clubs. Each workshop is an opportunity to network and share ideas.

Participants are encouraged to introduce their clubs by circulating flyers and business.

Upcoming workshops include:

Wednesday 1 May 2019 - How to Run a Great Club: Planning for Sustainable Clubs

Wednesday 15 May 2019 - Financial Sustainability: Grants, Sponsors and Partners

Wednesday 5 June 2019 - Marketing, Promotion and Growing Your Membership

Wednesday 19 June 2019 - Volunteer Management: Attracting and Retaining Volunteers

Want to share your success? The City invites you to feature your achievements at our workshops!

This is an opportunity to promote your club while providing practical information and inspiration for other groups looking to improve. We’re looking to hear from clubs who have success stories in the following areas:

  • Marketing for membership growth
  • Attracting and retaining active volunteers
  • Improving access for culturally and linguistically diverse communities, including Aboriginal Australians, new migrants and asylum seekers.
  • Improving access for people with disabilities and other marginalised groups
  • Creating kid safe environments
  • Creating healthy environments
