With significant easing of the State Government’s latest COVID-19 restrictions for Perth and Peel from 12.01am on Saturday 8 May, many of the City’s public facilities and services will resume normal operations.

Masks will no longer be mandatory, except at events with more than 1,000 people and situations outlined on the State Government website.

None of these directly affect City operations, services or programs, which will all resume as usual under the standing COVID requirements, with regular opening hours.

These remaining restrictions are expected to remain in place until 12.01am on Saturday 15 May, pending ongoing health advice.

The City monitors all advice from the Federal and State Governments, and will continue to make decisions for the safety, health and wellbeing of our community, customers and staff based on their recommendations.

Our friendly Customer Service Officers are available to assist you during office hours and can be contacted on 9397 3000 between 8.30am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Our libraries will be open and the City's digital collections and free online resources will continue to be available for members with a current and valid membership.

The City recommends that all residents and business operators download the SafeWA app and the COVIDSafe app, if you have not already done so. Use these apps and wear a mask when required during this new stage of restrictions.

For the latest COVID-19 information and advice, please visit the State Government website. If you are unwell, stay home and arrange to get tested immediately. Locations and opening times for COVID Clinics can be found at this website.
