Strategic Community Plan

At its Ordinary Council Meeting on 16 December 2015, the City of Gosnells adopted its current Strategic Community Plan 2015-2025 which contains the following vision for Gosnells:

‘We will be a vibrant City with a strong community identity; a great place to live, work, raise children, visit and invest; a place that encourages a range of lifestyles and opportunities; and where the natural environment, cultural diversity and heritage of the City is respected and protected for the enjoyment of current and future generations.’

Strategic Community Plan Review

The City is required to review the Strategic Community Plan every 2 to 4 years. In late 2017, the City conducted a Community Identity Survey which included a range of questions designed to inform the review of the Strategic Community Plan by asking residents about their priorities for the future. The City received almost 800 responses and has used the information to develop the draft Strategic Community Plan 2018-2028 which you can now read by following the related link below.

Before Council adopts a new plan the City is seeking your views on the draft. Please email your comments to council@gosnells.wa.gov.au by the end of October 2018.
