With death-defying acrobatics, superhuman stunts and a dollop of humour, Zap Circus brings the Purple People Show to the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre on Thursday 5 October for the school holidays.

Talented Perth pair Tarrabelle Murphy and Rusty Hammond will perform cool circus tricks, whip-cracking and hula-hooping while encouraging plenty of audience interaction during matinees at 11am and 1.30pm.

Tarrabelle and Rusty have taken their high energy act around Australia and to 30 countries worldwide, performing at major events including Glastonbury Festival in the UK and the Perth International Arts Festival.

City of Gosnells Mayor Olwen Searle said the Purple People Show provided the perfect entertainment for families during the October school holidays.

“Children have always been drawn to the colour and energy of the circus and this show is certain to engage and delight youngsters and their families,” Mayor Searle said.
