Help your club or community group in the City of Gosnells overcome challenges and reach its full potential by attending an upcoming training workshop.

The City is hosting a second series of free workshops, that provide training and networking for sport, recreation and community groups to further develop skills and knowledge of topics relevant to their activities and operations.

Five workshops to be held between July and November will include topics relevant to groups and clubs and provide training to committee members, volunteers and club members.

Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said the workshops are open to all community groups operating in the City, including sporting clubs, leisure and recreation groups, cultural associations, faith and support groups and Scout and Guide groups.

“Our City is home to hundreds of clubs and community groups, reflecting the wonderful diversity of our community, and each faces a unique set of challenges,” Mayor Dewhurst said.

“The workshops cover a wide range of topics, including promoting culturally inclusive clubs, managing conflict, child safe clubs and more. I encourage community members to take a look at the program and come along to a session.”

Places are limited and registration is essential via the link below or by calling 9397 3000.

Light refreshments will be provided. Please arrive by 5.45pm for a 6pm start.
