Book in quick to secure your place for a haunted historical hike, with tickets for the 2021 City of Gosnells’ annual Ghost Walks open now.

Along the spooktacular stroll, story-telling ghosts describe the rich history of the Mason and Bird Timber Mill Company, and bring to life the many interesting characters that walked the same track nearly 150 years ago.

This summer, the Ghost Walks will run across three Friday evenings, on 29 January, 26 February and 26 March.

City of Gosnells Mayor David Goode said the popular walks have been run in the City for more than 20 years, thanks in part to the dedication and enthusiasm of volunteers.

“The City is home to some fascinating history and these moonlit walks are a great way to experience our region’s past in a fun and lively way,” he said.

“Get to know another side of the place we call home and book your tickets now.”

The 5.5 kilometre trail includes hills, steps and uneven surfaces, so a moderate level of fitness is required for participants. It’s not suitable for prams or strollers, and is recommended for children over 10 years.

Tickets to the alcohol and smoke-free event are $25 for adults and $10 for children.
