Families with children are invited to join the City of Gosnells for a teddy bears’ picnic at Centennial Pioneer Park in Gosnells, as part of a special school holidays Park Play session.

Each week, the City hosts free Park Play activities at parks and reserves across local suburbs, where children can take part in a wide variety of activities, in a fun and safe environment.

The teddy bears’ picnic will be on Thursday 3 October from 11am – 1pm and parents, grandparents and guardians are encouraged to bring along a picnic and teddy bear to join in the fun.

Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said there will be a range of activities for everyone to enjoy.

“As well as a special visit from a giant teddy bear, fairies will add some magic to the day, the City’s Pop Up Library will be there, and our Senior Services team will have information about the programs for seniors in the City, many of whom are grandparents,” he said.

“Park Play is a terrific opportunity for families to get together, spend quality time with their children and enjoy the City’s great parks, all while connecting with others.”
