The Wembley Theatre Company returns to the Don Russell Performing Arts Centre for another classic pantomime performance of Sleeping Beauty on Sunday 4 November at 1pm.

Everyone in the castle is determined to protect Princess Aurora from sharp objects, such as needles and pins, lest she prick her finger. But the evil witch is determined to inflict the injury with anything sharp she can find – her attempt with a large lead pencil is a real case of 2B or not 2B.

When Prince Meridian finds her asleep in the forest, will he know what to do? Will the nasty ogre take revenge on the people living in the Kingdom? All will be revealed during the show.

City of Gosnells Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said families and people of all ages would enjoy the Wembley Theatre Company’s take on this classic fairy tale.

“It’s a familiar story but there’ll be plenty of surprises and laughs along the way,” he said.
