Seniors invited to join the Christmas spirit

Published on Friday 16 November, 2018

Local seniors are invited to embrace the Christmas spirit this December, with two evening events that will capture the magic and excitement of the season.

On Thursday 6 December, residents can enjoy a Christmas Lights Tour, in search of the best lighting displays that local homes have to offer.

Then on Monday 17 December, the annual Safer Seniors Carols by Candlelight will bring local seniors together to enjoy carols and more. The Real Life Church and special guests, our local Singing for Fun group, will lend their voices to the evening.

City of Gosnells Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said there was no better time to get involved in the City’s Seniors events program.

“Christmas is a special time for joining together, meeting people and sharing joy and laughter, which means it’s the perfect time to see what our seniors events are all about,” he said.

“We offer affordable activities and events, where you can meet like-minded people, keep connected with others in our community and generally have a great time. Join in the Christmas spirit and book your place now.”
