Best known for stories about local settlement and early agriculture, the Wilkinson Homestead Museum will be delving into a different aspect of history next month – music from the 1960s, 70s and 80s.

Community members are invited to test their music knowledge with the Music Quiz and Fondue Night at the Museum on Friday 12 October.

City of Gosnells Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said music was a part of history everyone could enjoy.

“The City of Gosnells underwent some dramatic changes in the 60s, 70s and 80s, and so did the music we listened to,” he said.

“The Music Quiz and Fondue Night at the Museum promises to be a great time for everyone. The only thing left to decide is whether your table will enjoy a cheese fondue or chocolate fondue.”

Fondue sets are provided for each table, however participants should bring their own fondue ingredients, along with other nibbles and drinks.

Tickets are $80 for a table of eight. To book, call the City on 9397 3000.
