Netball courts ready for action

The City of Gosnells has given members of the Southern Districts Netball Association a great new playing surface just in time for the 2019 winter competition.

The final stage of the two-year project has now been completed, with 22 courts resurfaced for the benefit of thousands of players using this facility each year.

City of Gosnells Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said the total project cost of more than $200,000 was a vital investment in local sport.

“The Langford netball courts are one of the City’s busiest sporting venues – it’s a terrific place for youth development in this sport and provides programs and competition for players at all levels of the game.

“With the winter season about to start, the City is pleased to have this project ready to make this a first-class facility, ensuring the courts are at the best possible standard.”
