Homegrown - Little Scribblers

Don your lab coat and safety glasses – Little Scribblers is having a blast in the science lab.

The City of Gosnells’ popular family event, to be held on Saturday 17 March at Langford Oval, will be an exploration of the world around us, through experiments, astronomy, forensics and much more.

“Homegrown is always fantastic fun for families and this year, I hope more families and their children come along and join me and my kids at this great event,” said City of Gosnells Mayor Glenn Dewhurst.

“All the elements for an amazing reaction are there, and my hypothesis is that Little Scribblers will be electrifying this year.”

As well as experiments to try, there will be art and craft activities, and visitors can participate in the science of mural painting as you add colour to a beautiful collective art piece with artist Mel McVee. Farm animals, stalls and food trucks will also be on hand.

“Remember, the City hosts a huge number of children’s events and activities throughout the year and I urge you to check our events listing on the City’s website and join in,” Mayor Dewhurst said.

Little Scribblers is presented by Act-Belong-Commit, and sponsored by Primewest, Lotterywest, Boral and Mystic Clue.
