There will be two series, comprising of three workshops each, covering a variety of topics including nutrition, fitness, sleep, stress management and healthy cooking.

Each workshop will be conducted by a health professional and will include practical components where participants will be able to try out new tips and techniques.

Mayor David Goode said the workshops are designed to empower community members to make healthy choices.

“The choices we make in our everyday life play a significant role in our physical and mental wellbeing,” he said.

“These workshops will provide participants with the knowledge and confidence  to improve their health and wellbeing, so I encourage people to look at the different topics and register in a series that best suits their personal needs.”
