Just a Couple of Song and Dance Men will bring ‘old Hollywood’ glamour to the City’s Don Russell Performing Arts Centre on Saturday 29 June.

In this 80-minute musical cabaret, you’ll enjoy delightful songs like Hello Dolly, Well Did You Evah, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, Candy Man, Singin’ in the Rain and Mr Bojangles.

Shay Debney and Mikey Halcrow will tell the stories of a great bygone era through a performance that channels the greats of Hollywood, including Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, with Shannon Whitelock accompanying on grand piano.

Debney returns to the show after starring in a sell-out season earlier in 2018. This talented dancer, actor and singer also performed in Strictly Gershwin, Lord of the Flies and Mack and Mabel.

He is joined by Halcrow, his Wizard of Oz co-star, for this singing and dancing extravaganza.

Deputy Mayor Terresa Lynes said this event was a true celebration of Hollywood’s ‘song and dance men’.

“These guys will mesmerise with their dance steps and there’ll be one memorable song after another to guarantee a very enjoyable night at the theatre,” the Deputy Mayor said.
