Increase your financial literacy and gain a better understanding of how to be financially secure in retirement at a series of free seminars taking place across three City of Gosnells libraries.

Centrelink’s Financial Information Service will be delivering the seminars, with topics including accommodation options in retirement, age pensions, investment options, financial planning and understanding property.

A total of 10 sessions will be held between 3 and 27 February 2020 at Kenwick Library, Amherst Village Library and the Knowledge Centre.

City of Gosnells Mayor David Goode said the seminars provide a great opportunity for residents to receive expert advice on a variety of financial matters.

“While we know how important it is to be financially savvy in all aspects of our life, it can be challenging to find trustworthy and relevant information,” he said.

“I encourage residents to attend a session relevant to them, ask questions, and gain a better understanding of how to confidently take control of their finances.”

Bookings are essential as places are limited. To make a booking, please email or call any of the City’s four libraries.
