Summer’s biggest splashdown in the City of Gosnells will provide a day out for the whole family that’s soaked with fun.

On Saturday 20 February and Sunday 21 February, the City will gather more than 20 of the biggest waterslides in Western Australia, along with a dunk tank, mechanical surfboard, beach volleyball, Mega Supa Soak Arena, giant games, live DJ, food trucks and much more.

The all-ages event will also feature a Li’l Splash Zone for younger children, complete with paddle pools, mini slides and sandcastle building.

Mayor David Goode said the free pop-up water park, at Sutherlands Park in Huntingdale, promised to make a huge splash this summer.

“Tropic Like It’s Hot will bring a summer beach vibe to the City of Gosnells, keeping everyone cool and creating a lot of fun for the whole community to enjoy together,” he said.

“Book your ticket now, because you don’t want to be left high and dry.”

Tickets include access to all water slide activities and roving entertainment for three hours. A 30-minute changeover and time for cleaning and sanitisation between sessions will allow ‘beachgoers’ to dry off and exit the venue.

To comply with State Government COVID-19 requirements, all attendees must register via the SafeWA app or sign the register on site.

Tickets are available from https://tropiclikeitshot2021.eventbrite.com.au, or visit the City’s website at www.gosnells.wa.gov.au/TropicLikeItsHot for more details.
