Community members are being encouraged to take a peek inside the Whitely Fishbowl Gallery, at The Agonis, with more than a dozen exhibitions booked between now and November.

From wood turning, to oil paintings, illustrations, abstract art, Aboriginal art, and sculptures, the gallery, located at The Agonis, will showcase the best the local arts scene has to offer.

City of Gosnells Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said the breadth and depth of local artists was a testament to the local community.

“Art enriches our lives and our community, which is why the City is pleased to offer this exhibition space to our many talented local artists and artisans,” he said.

“In the coming months, we will be showing the work of local art collectives, artists with disability, fashion students and many more.

“The Whitely Fishbowl Gallery might be small, but it is vibrant and exciting, with work able to be viewed through glass walls and space for artists to work alongside their exhibitions.”
