Celebrate National Families Week next month with lots of play, stories and dancing for everyone to enjoy, at three free City of Gosnells events.

Mayor David Goode said the City’s National Family Week celebrations were aimed at children aged up to 10 years old, their parents, grandparents and carers.

“In the City of Gosnells, families come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, and they are the building blocks of our community,” he said.

“I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the importance of families in our community than with play, stories and dancing.”

Held between 15 and 21 May, National Families Week will celebrate the vital role that families play in teaching, supporting and nurturing children, with events across the country. This year’s theme is ‘Stronger families, stronger communities’.
