Feedback wanted on park plans – Glyndebourne Avenue Reserve

Published on Wednesday 9 October, 2019

Nearby residents are invited to a consultation session on Thursday 24 October to discuss proposed plans for a new-look Glyndebourne Avenue Reserve in Thornlie.

The 1.3ha park is earmarked for upgrade as part of the City’s Green Space Planning.

A concept plan has been prepared and community feedback on this concept is essential to ensure there is input from people using the park now, as well as those who are likely to use a better version of the park in the future.

The City is keen to retain the park’s mature trees but plans to provide more structured areas with a path network, landscaping and somewhere for kids to kick a ball.

City staff will be on-site from 3.30pm to 5.30pm on Thursday 24 October to discuss ideas and answer any questions.

Alternatively, feedback can be provided online and the concept plan can be viewed at the link below.
