Date set for Fusion Festival

Published on Wednesday 4 September, 2019

Preparations are underway for the annual Fusion Food and Culture Festival, and the City is looking for cultural and community groups to get involved.

This year’s celebration of the City’s multicultural community will be held on Saturday 9 November at Mills Park in Beckenham, and will feature global market stalls, arts and crafts, tasty food and much more.

City of Gosnells Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said more than 15,000 people attended the 2018 Fusion Festival.

“We’re proud that the City of Gosnells is one of the most culturally diverse local government areas in Perth, and the huge success of last year’s Fusion Festival shows our community is proud of this too.

“This year will be our 19th annual celebration of cultural diversity and I encourage local community and cultural groups to join in the fun.”

Community members, cultural groups and organisations that can present, display or offer an opportunity for people to participate in culturally diverse activities are invited to be a stallholder, activity provider or performer.
