Comment on Community Plan

The City of Gosnells’ draft Strategic Community Plan 2018 – 2028 is now available for public comment until the end of October.

Based on almost 800 responses to a 2017 Community Identity Survey, which asked residents about their priorities for the future, the draft plan highlights the community’s views on issues such as the environment, local economy, safety and sense of community.

City of Gosnells Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said the community’s feedback on the draft plan was just as important as the community’s input to it.

“The City is keen to hear the public’s views on the draft Strategic Community Plan before it is adopted by Council,” Mayor Dewhurst said.

“Comments from our residents will ensure that our long-term vision reflects their views and what they hope will be achieved for their community.”

Copies of the draft Strategic Community Plan 2018 – 2028 are available from the City’s Civic Centre or local libraries, as well as the City’s website, where comments can be submitted by the end of October.
