City’s Sunset Cinemas return

March movie madness will hit the City of Gosnells when the annual Sunset Cinemas return.

Every Friday from 5 to 26 March, the City will host a free outdoor movie screening, along with a fun line-up of themed activities for all the family to enjoy.

Mayor David Goode said Sunset Cinemas, presented by LiveLighter, were a wonderful way to explore the City’s beautiful parks and get to know people in your community.

“Each event will have activities based on the movie we’re showing, so it’s going to be fun for all ages and don’t forget to bring a picnic dinner or enjoy something tasty from the food trucks,” he said.

Admission is free and the entertainment starts at 5pm, with movies showing after dark.

Movie details:

  • Friday 5 March: The Secret Life of Pets 2 (PG) at Robinson Park, Gosnells
  • Friday 12 March: Sonic the Hedgehog (PG) at Auckland Parade Reserve, Canning Vale
  • Friday 19 March: Jumanji – The Next Level (PG) at Sutherlands Park, Huntingdale
  • Friday 26 March: Coco (PG) at Partridge Way Reserve, Thornlie

To comply with State Government COVID-19 requirements, all Sunset Cinema attendees must register via the SafeWA app or sign the register on site. Patrons are reminded to maintain physical distance and stay home if they or another person in their household feels unwell.
