A new event series has sprung into action in the City of Gosnells, with plenty of excitement planned throughout the warmer months.

Spring into Summer kicked off in October with Art in the Park and Run-A-Muck, then continued last month with the ever popular Fusion Food and Culture Festival.

City of Gosnells Mayor Glenn Dewhurst said Spring into Summer included a huge range of events between now and April next year, which will cater for all residents.

“We know our community loves getting out and supporting City events,” Mayor Dewhurst said.

“As part of Spring into Summer, we have our new community Christmas event Jingle All the Way, Primewest Popcorn Cinemas, summer concerts, the ever-popular Illuminate Night Party and much more.

“Events such as these are an important way to encourage residents to spend quality time with friends and family, get to know their neighbours and really enjoy the great community where we live.”

The new Spring into Summer format will allow the City to host community events across several months. Previously, the City’s events were concentrated in February and March.
