Residents near Robinson Park in Gosnells celebrated their beautiful new park and playground with a community event last Friday 18 September.

This 2.9ha park has been redeveloped to feature a nature-based playground, picnic areas with seating and shade, barbecues, a path network, basketball half-court, dog exercise area and extensive tree planting and landscaping.

Mayor David Goode said local families enjoyed the new park facilities with a free sausage sizzle, Park Play session, inflatable play equipment and plenty of games and activities with the City’s Nomad youth trailer.

“A number of community consultations were held for the development of this extensive project with input helping to create an outstanding result, serving current and future families for decades to come.

“The park is just one part of this multi-million dollar project, as the surrounding residential lots are now being prepared for sale.

“This new residential estate would be ideal for first homebuyers, young families or local people wanting to downsize, and having such an attractive park on the doorstep is a great drawcard.”

Lots are sized from 352m2 to 540m2, with prices ranging from $191,000 to $229,000. More details are available from the selling agent MMJ Real Estate by calling 9325 5880.
