When: Monday 16 September, 9.00AM - 12.00PM
Monday 14 October, 9.00AM - 12.00PM
Monday 11 November, 9.00AM - 12.00PM

The Wilkinson Homestead Museum education program is available to schools within the City of Gosnells for incursions for a limited number of dates during Terms 2, 3 and 4.

The Incursion education programs are based on the History Boxes – A day in the life of Emma Wilkinson and Learn and Play – and address key inquiry questions of the Year 1 Australian Curriculum history strand. Demonstrating the differences between how things were done in the past compared to the present, museum staff will present an interactive session creating stories that use objects from the History Box. Students are able to participate in the sessions and have a go at using the historical objects.

All City of Gosnells museum staff members and volunteers have current, valid Working with Children Cards and have extensive experience in delivering educational programs to children.

Fees apply, see listing for 2 activities (offsite presentation) in the related links section below.

Bookings are essential and can be made by calling 9397 3145 or email library_queries@gosnells.wa.gov.au.
