City of Gosnells

Let’s spread some Christmas cheer and light up your neighbourhood.  Decorate your house or street this year and add some sparkle to your community.  Enter the Safe City Christmas Lights Competition and win some great prizes.

• Best Private Residence - winner will receive $500 and a plaque.  Four runners-up will receive a $100 Centro Maddington voucher.
• Best Decorated Street (five Houses or more) – winners will receive $1,000 and a commemorative street sign.

All unsuccessful entrants in the Best Private Residence category will go into a draw to win one of two $50 Centro Maddington vouchers.

Each year the Christmas Lights are bigger and brighter with some spectacular lighting displays on private homes and streets that have attracted large numbers of visitors.  Drivers please remember when you are out and about looking at the Christmas Lights to be courteous to pedestrians and other drivers.  Be aware that these are also residential streets where neighbours live.

Entry is simple, just click here and complete the entry form.

Entries close at 5pm on Monday 14 December 2009 and late entries will not be accepted.  Judging will take place on Wednesday 16 and Thursday 17 December 2009.  All entrants are requested to leave their lights on until 11pm on both nights.
