Traffic Incident Reporting Program
Anti social driver behaviour and excessive vehicle speed has become an ever increasing problem on our local roads. Frequently, this behaviour results in safety concerns to residents, damage to Council infrastructure and becomes a disturbance to our neighbourhoods.
The City of Gosnells has used traffic calming devices in an effort to keep speed below or at the designated speed limits, but experience has shown that these measures at times have limited effect in modifying anti social driver behaviour.
One of the problems for the WA Police in trying to apprehend or find the drivers responsible for these incidents is finding and collating information, particularly from the general public. Such information and public cooperation is vital in helping to eradicate these types of incidents. In response to this, the City of Gosnells and the WA Police are working together to alleviate these incidents and help make the streets safer – but they need your help.
The “Dob in a Hoon” campaign has been developed to reduce incidences of anti social behaviour and excessive speed.
Police advise that anti-social driver behaviour should be reported to them as it occurs on 131 444.

The eWATCH Program
To assist with the reporting process, the City of Gosnells is asking residents with computer facilities to register with the Safe City Initiative’s eWATCH Program.
The eWATCH program allows our local Police to let the community know when assistance is required to target suspicious or criminal activities. The City of Gosnells also uses the service to provide safety and security information and tips to residents. All information is treated as confidential and anyone providing information remains anonymous.
The process is very simple. Anyone with email can register for the service by forwarding their details to ewatch@gosnells.wa.gov.au, or by contacting Safe City on 9391 6022. To learn more about eWatch follow the links on this page.
Alternatively, you can report any information direct to the WA Police at your local Police Station or complete the Traffic Incident Report contained on this brochure and return to the City of Gosnells as soon as possible. All information is registered and forwarded to the WA Police for action. Additional forms are available from local libraries, Leisure World, the Addie Mills Centre, Customer Service at the City of Gosnells Administration Building and Safe City by phoning 9391 6022.
