Club Development

The Club Development officers role is  to work with community clubs and groups to help them to develop their skills and capacity to provide activities for the community.

A key component of the role is engaging clubs and providing guidance and advice to assist them to create healthy, welcoming and inclusive environments, and to increase community participation.

The Club Development Officer  aims to empower clubs and community groups, but also to improve the health of community members by promoting the social and physical benefits of belonging to a sports/ recreation club.


When a group incorporates, it becomes a legal entity in its own right which is able to do things in its own name. Click here for more information.

Community Sponsorship Program

The City of Gosnells supports individuals and community groups with sponsorship through its Community Sponsorship Program. Sponsorship is offered across various categories and supports community events, programs, minor capital works, training and development, history and heritage, equipment and NAIDOC Week activities.
