Eco Adventures

Which adventure awaits you?

This exciting new program gives participants the opportunity to explore the great outdoors through a number of exhilarating outdoor activities and challenges.

Quarry abseiling, Valley to Valley Camel trek, Archery, Cross Skating and Roller ski, Late night sky star gazing, Family challenge day and Bibbulmun track walk are just some of the activities included in the program.

Experience local natural wonders at Bickley reservoir, Victoria reservoir, Ellis Brook Valley, Bickley valley, Mills park, Statham Quarry and Whiteman park depending on which adventure you choose.

    18 February 2018: Bickley Valley Canoeing

    Enjoy this fun canoeing session in the picturesque Bickley Valley. Participants will take part in a number of activities including shuttle and obstacle course races, canoe polo, balancing challenges or simply a leisurely paddle on the reservoir. Enjoy a sausage sizzle to finish off the day.

    19 February 2018: Muddy Gully

    Muddy Gully is a hands-on, tactile play opportunity which includes clay, a ‘mud pit’, face painting with natural clay and minerals (ochre) and water play with goblets, bowls, jugs and tools to mix ‘potions’. Please note this program has the potential to be a very messy (...but fun!) experience.

    24 February 2018: Family Fishing Clinic

    Join in this family friendly fishing clinic and learn about Recfishwest, good fishing practices, casting and general fishing safety followed by a hands on fishing session with prizes and a light lunch.

    Learning simple knot tying skills and cooperating with others, children have the opportunity to build cubbies from fabric and natural materials and play wilderness awareness games.

    Join us for a 2 hour introductory wakeboarding session at Perth Wake Park. Riders of any level can come along. All the gear you need is provided and the pros at the Perth wakeboarding park will be there to guide you along the way.

    08 April 2018: Caving Tunnel System and Confidence Course

    Experience the thrill of caving in our underground tunnels. Follow the leader, explore and search for the Pirates Loot underground. Afterwards meander your ways through an obstacle course in the bush and up the creek.
