The City invites you to nominate an outstanding individual or group for this year's Community Citizen of the Year Awards to be presented on Australia Day, 26 January 2024.

Community Citizen of the Year - individuals over 16 years old

A person you believe has delivered outstanding service to the community.

Young Community Citizen of the Year 

A young person you believe has delivered outstanding service to the community and to be eligible, the person must be aged between 16 - 30 years old on January 26.

Senior Community Citizen of the Year 

An older person you believe has delivered outstanding service to the community and to be eligible, the person must be over 65 years of age on January 26.

Active Citizenship Award 

A group doing outstanding work or for an event staged in the community during the past year.

Nominations open now and will close on Tuesday 31 October. Nominations received after the closing date will be ineligible for this year’s awards.
