Local resident Jamie Brown was the lucky winner of an iPad Mini 2, as part of the City of Gosnells Great Detective Trail throughout February and March.
Run as part of the Homegrown Festival, the Great Detective Trail was a children’s activity in which participants found a secret picture and collected a stamp at each of the City’s four libraries. The final stamp was collected at the Wilkinson Homestead Museum, where each participant received a prize pack and was entered in the major prize draw.
Jamie was excited to receive the major prize on Wednesday 29 March.
City of Gosnells Deputy Mayor Julie Brown said the activity was a great way to encourage younger residents to discover all that is available at the City’s libraries.
“Jamie is obviously an excellent detective, so we hope he discovered a few other hidden treasures while he explored the libraries and Wilkinson Homestead Museum during the competition,” Cr Brown said.
Cr Brown said the City received plenty of positive feedback about the Great Detective Trail, with many library and museum patrons enjoying solving the clues to find the codes.
